Browns Diamond & Jewellery Certificates

All jewellery manufactured in our workshop is accompanied by an original Browns certificate guaranteeing authenticity and assuring the characteristics of your unique diamonds or gemstones. Our jewellery is also engraved with a unique identity number guaranteeing that your piece of jewellery is as stated on your certificate. This individual number allows us to trace your stone’s unique history from the master craftsmen who cut and polished it, bringing it to life, to the finest goldsmiths and setters who celebrated its beauty in a design which would enhance and showcase its sparkle.

Over the years we have developed our own proprietary grading system to ensure that only the best most brilliant diamonds become Browns diamonds. The exact parameters of a Browns diamond are one of our best kept secrets. They are based on the traditional 4 C’s but also include a 5th C – Combination and 2 T’s – Transparency and Treatment. It is the perfect balance between all of these characteristics that result in the exceptional brilliance demanded of a Browns diamond.

You will see that on a Browns Diamond Certificate diamonds which weigh less than 0.25 carats are graded as “Deluxe”. In order for a diamond to be certified “Deluxe” every stone must comply with the minimum standards of a Browns Diamond as discussed above. Every “Deluxe” diamond has been individually selected, graded and approved. Only diamonds with a minimum colour of G-H and clarity VS-SI may be included. All Browns diamonds weighing more than 0.25 carats are grading according to traditionally alphanumeric standards.

If the diamond characteristics are found not be as stated on your certificate we will accept the return of your jewellery and provide you with a full credit or replace the diamond with a diamond that meets or exceeds the characteristics as stated on the certificate.
